Being a multiplayer-only title the lack of players means that Rocket Arena has virtually no content to speak of. Rocket Arena is sometimes accused of being a ripoff of Fortnite, with its cartoonish, more PG graphics and slapstick tone. This content requires the base game Rocket Arena on Steam in order to play. At the time of writing, the standard edition is available on Origin for 5. Steam Charts shows the game peaking at 913 players with a 24 peak of 146 over the last day or so. It used to be a lot harder to recommend Rocket Arena at its launch price of 30, but you can already get it much cheaper. Thus, the game is currently free to play on Steam. However, and only two weeks since its launch, the EA has launched a free to play weekend.
Unfortunately for Final Strike and EA it looks like the gaming community saw through this one from a mile away because the game has launched to critical indifference. Rocket Arena was officially released on July 15th.
